Can FAST®, a family strengthening program, change school climate, encourage social inclusion, empower parents, and achieve school turnaround?
The Wisconsin Center for Education Research, (in partnership with the School District of Philadelphia and Turning Points for Children) is investigating whether FAST® (and its followup program FASTWORKS®) can achieve these goals. These partners will implement FAST® in over 30 elementary schools in the city of Philadelphia. As many as 4,000 students and families will benefit from the program.
The national nonprofit Families and Schools Together®, Inc., will provide training and quality control for the project, while the American Institutes for Research will serve as the independent evaluator.
